Text:
the lights are beautiful
stark, square, aluminium grids
casting us in lack
of complete spectrum
teakish, geometric plates
bury us
from the waist down
clicking and tap, tap, tapping
murmuring
in voices all day long.
the hum of VDU insect buzz
and noises from outside
whisper in the rustling paper leaves.
around the hard edges
blowing hot and cold
exists desire
null and void
almost invisible, almost inaudible
something like laughter
ticks with the clock
in the central heated air
Still
out of the same
another voice
speaks of
curves and skin and for the inside of the mouth
makes itself heard
in the sliding pressure of fingers,
in small accidents and errors
when something slips away
or falls down on the carpet.
